Officially announced: Samsung Galaxy Tab 3

We had a lot of leaked and speculated information regarding Samsung Galaxy Tab 3, and now, we're proud to inform you that Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 has been officially announced.



Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 comes with 7-inch 1024×600 169 PPI display. As for other hardware, this tablet uses 1.2 GHz dual-core processor and 1GB or RAM. Regarding the storage space, this tablet comes with 8GB or 16GB of built-in memory, but there's also a microSD card slot, so you you can easily expand it.

In addition, Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 comes with 3MP main camera and 1.3MP front camera for video calls. Regarding the operating system, Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 runs on Android 4.1 Jelly Bean mobile operating system.

Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 is almost identical to its predecessor, although it has few enhanced hardware specs, so you might think twice before upgrading from your Galaxy Tab 2. As for the availability, we should see WiFi-only model in May, while the 3G version should be released in June. So far, we have no information regarding the price.

Geeky: Borderlands 2 Diamond Plate Loot Chest

Borderlands 2 is a huge hit, and if you're a fan of the game, today we have something special that will allow you to show your love for Borderlands 2.


New Borderlands 2 Diamond Plate Loot Chest has been announced, and it comes with a Goliath mask, a code for an in-game Goliath head, 20 cards with codes for Legendary items, four Wanted posters that feature playable characters and window decals featuring the weapon manufacturers. As for the chest itself, it looks amazing, and it will be a great addition to your room, especially if you're a Borderlands 2 fan, or just a video game geek.

Borderlands 2 Diamond Plate Loot Chest is great, but sadly, it doesn't come with a copy of the game. If you're interested, you can get it from ThinkGeek, Gearbox shop or Forbidden Planet for $100. As for availability, Gearbox will massively produce this chest, and we should see Borderlands 2 Diamond Plate Loot Chest available for sale in June.

RetroN 4 with four slots was originally planned, but the company decided to add another extra slot, and that's how we got RetroN 5. Hyperkin's RetroN 5 comes with five cartridge slots, and you can play NES, SNES, SFC, GENESIS, MegaDrive, Famicom and GameBoy Advance/Color games on it, as long as you have game cartridges.

We have to mention that RetroN 5 plans to achieve 100% compatibility, and it supports both PAL and NTSC cartridges. If you want a complete retro experience, RetroN 5 comes with controller ports for NES, SNES and Genesis, but there's also a Bluetooth wireless controller with microswitch directional pad, Macro buttons, shoulder buttons, home buttons and 4 LED lights that represent number of players. This console comes with standard AV output, but there's a HDMI output as well for HDTV connectivity. In addition, there's a USB port, so you can charge the wireless controller directly from the console.

RetroN 5 looks great, and we should see it available in July for less than $100.

If you have played any of the Portal games, or if you're a video game geek, this 3D Printed GLaDOS Arm Lamp will be perfect for your living room. Although this amazing lamp isn't available for sale, Dragonator was kind enough to leave detailed instructions online, so you can easily create your own robotic lamp.

3D Printed GLaDOS Arm Lamp looks amazing, and who knows, we might see upgraded 3D Printed GLaDOS Arm Lamp in the future that actually moves and follows you around the room.

FujiFilm is famous for its cameras, but if you're always on the go, you might need a rugged camera, and today we have a new rugged device that comes from FujiFilm.



FinePix XP200 is a rugged camera, and it's waterproof up to 50 feet/15 meters, shockproof to 6.6 feet/2 meters, freezeproof to 14°F/-10°C and dustproof. This 16-megapixel camera comes with 5x optical zoom FUJINON lens, and it uses CMOS-shift image stabilization to capture blur-free and clear images.

We also have to point out that this camera uses Intelligent Digital Zoom, so you can double your zoom up to 10x. As you know, this camera is designed for active outdoor users, and it supports 10fps high-speed continuous shooting at full resolution, or 60fps continuous shooting at lower resolution. Speaking of continuous shooting, this device comes with a dedicated Burst Mode button, so you can perform continuous shooting easily.
