Posted: 21 Mar 2013 12:00 AM PDT

You might remember boomboxes, and if you're bit nostalgic, today we a concept that combines boomboxes and backpacks into a single device.

As we already said, Boompack combines boombox and backpack, and it's designed by Massimo Battaglia. This device comes with eight way speakers, 100 watts of output power, and a built-in rechargeable battery that can last up to six hours. In addition to the boombox, Boompack also comes with a built-in 200-lumen pico projector. There's a 32GB internal memory for your files, but you can easily expand it thanks to the SD card slot, and since there's a USB port, you can easily connect other USB devices to it. Boompack also has a hidden compartment for docking smartphones, as well as a hidden built-in stand, so it can stand on its own.

Boompack sounds impressive, and its designer did an amazing job with it, however, Boompack remains a concept for now.
