Armatix iP1 is the world’s first smart gun that works with your smartwatch

We saw rise of smart device, and after smartphones, smart TVs and smartwatches, it seems that we might see a smart gun.

Armatix is a gun maker, and this company has developed a new king of gun that works with your smartwatch. This .22-caliber handgun comes with a smartwatch, and the smartwatch is used as a safety mechanism, so if the smartwatch isn't in range the gun automatically locks and can't fire. Gun comes with RFID chip that measures proximity and when smartwatch is in range the green light on the grip will light up signalizing that gun is unlocked and ready to fire. This is great since your gun will remain permanently locked in case you misplace it or lose it thus lowering chance for an accident.

Armatix iP1 sounds interesting and it should lower the number of gun related accidents. As for the price, Armatix iP1 is priced at $1,399, while the smartwatch is sold separately and it's priced at $399.

Asus PadFone Infinity Lite: Latest member of PadFone family launched

We mentioned Asus PadFone several times in the past, and if you are the fan of this device, you'll be pleased to hear that Asus has launched a new member of PadFone family.

Asus PadFone Infinity Lite is the latest addition to the PadFone series, and this device is powered by 1.7GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 600 quad-core processor and it comes with 5-inch 1,080×1,920 pixel resolution display. In terms of memory, there's 2GB RAM and 32GB of internal storage space. The smartphone comes with 13-megapixel rear camera and 2,400mAh battery. As for the tablet, it has 10.1-inch 1,920×1,080 pixel resolution display and 5,000mAh battery. Regarding the software, Asus PadFone Infinity Lite runs on Android 4.1 Jelly Bean, but we're hoping to see update to Android 4.4 KitKat in the future.

Asus PadFone Infinity Lite is available in Taiwan, but there's no information regarding worldwide availability or pricing at the moment.

G Pro 2: Latest smartphone from LG unveiled

LG has released some great devices, and if you're a fan of LG, you'll be pleased to hear that this company has announced its latest smartphone.

LG G Pro 2 is a 5.9-inch device, and it comes with 1920 x 1080 IPS display and 3.3mm bezel. Regarding the hardware, there's Snapdragon 800 2.26 GHz Quad-Core processor, Adreno 330 GPU, 3GB of DDR3 RAM and choice between 16GB or 32GB of internal storage space. There is also a microSD card slot for expansion available. In terms of connectivity there is Bluetooth Smart Ready, USB, Wi-Fi (802.11 a/b/g/n/ac), NFC and SlimPort. On the back of the device there's 13-megapixel camera with Optical Image Stabilizer Plus (OIS+) that can record video at 120 frames per second or 4K Ultra HD video. The camera also supports "Natural Flash" as well as "Magic Focus" and "Burst Shot" feature. The device comes with 3,200mAh battery, and it weighs 172g.
