LUMIX DMC-GF6: Latest addition to the Panasonic LUMIX GF series

If you're a photographer, you're probably familiar with Panasonic's LUMIX GF series, and speaking of which, Panasonic has decided to update its series with a new model.

LUMIX DMC-GF6 uses Micro Four Thirds camera with a 16 Megapixel Live MOS sensor and a new Venus Engine in order to produce high-quality images with minimal noise.

This camera uses Light Speed AF system that captures fast-moving subjects clearly, and with a 0.5 second startup time, you won't miss anything with this camera. This camera works great in low-light environments thanks to the Low Light AF system and a maximum ISO 25600 sensitivity. LUMIX DMC-GF6 is a mirrorless camera, and it comes with Multi-process Noise Reduction, Detail Reproduction Filter Process and Intelligent D-range Control to deliver enhanced image quality.

LUMIX GF6 supports Full HD video recording in AVCHD or MP4 format with stereo sound. This camera also comes with a 3-inch touch display on the back, WiFi and NFC connectivity, so you can easily share your pictures and videos. In addition, you can pair your iOS or Android device with LUMIX DMC-GF6 in order to use your smartphone to control the shutter, zooming, focusing, shutter speed, aperture and exposure compensation.

Panasonic LUMIX DMC-GF6 is a great camera, and it's available in black, red, white and brown colors. Sadly, we have no information regarding the price.

Xiaomi MI-2S and the MI-2A Android 4.1 smartphones

If you're looking for a new Android smartphone, you might be interested in two new smartphones that come from a Chinese company Xiaomi.

Xiaomi has launched two new models, MI-2S and the MI-2A, and the first model is a direct successor to the MI-2 model. Xiaomi MI-2S comes with Qualcomm's new SnapDragon 600 1.7GHz quad-core processor and 2GB of RAM.

There will be two MI-2 models available: the 16GB model that uses 8 Megapixel camera with F2.0 lens, and 32GB model that comes with 13 Megapixel camera with F2.2 lens. Both 16GB and 32GB models have 4.3-inch 1280×720 IPS touchscreen display, a 2 Megapixel front-facing camera with 1080p video recording and dual microphone for noise cancellation. Xiaomi MI-2A is a 4.5-inch 720p HD IPS touchscreen device, and it comes with SnapDragon S4 Pro dual-core 1.7Ghz processor and 1GB of RAM.

This phone comes with 8 Megapixel main camera, and a 2 Megapixel front camera for video calls. Both MI-2S and MI-2A support Bluetooth 4.0, WiFi 802.11b/g/n, GPS/AGPS/GLONASS connectivity, and both of them work on quad-band WCDMA 3G and quad-band GSM/EDGE mobile networks. We also have to point out that MI-2A includes NFC support.

Xiaomi MI-2S 16GB model is priced at$323, while the 32GB model costs $371. On the other hand, Xiaomi MI-2A is priced at $242. Both models run on Android 4.1 and use the latest MIUI v5 user interface.
