Samsung announces Samsung Galaxy S III Mini

Samsung Galaxy S III was a huge success, but if you need a smartphone that is more friendly to your budget, you'll be pleased to hear that Samsung has announced Galaxy S III Mini.



This phone has a same design as Galaxy S III, but unlike the Samsung Galaxy S III, this phone uses 4-inch Super AMOLED touchscreen display, 1GHz dual-core processor, and 1GB of RAM.

Galaxy S III Mini uses a 5 Megapixel auto focus camera with LED flash so you can record 720p HD video. In addition, there's a VGA front-facing camera that is used for video calls. As for additional features, Samsung Galaxy S III Mini uses has a Smart Stay feature that uses phone's front camera to track user's eyes and it keeps the screen on as long as you look at it.

Additional features include Direct Call that automatically dials a call when you put your phone to your ear, and Smart Alert that alerts you about missed calls or messages as soon as you pick up your phone.

In addition, S Voice feature is available as well. Galaxy S III Mini supports GPS, Bluetooth 4.0, WiFi 802.11b/g/n as well as NFC, and it runs on Android 4.1 Jelly Bean with TouchWiz. There are two models available: 8GB and 16GB, and both of them support microSD/SDHC cards up to 32GB.

Samsung Galaxy S III Mini is a welcome addition to the Galaxy series, but so far there's no information about pricing or availability.

Pulse heart monitor comes from Electricfoxy, and it measures your pulse by using an iPhone app and a special ring. Dedicated app will show your heart rate on a graph, and the graph will change its color if your heart rate goes below or above your target heart rate. In addition, dedicated iPhone app can warn you with vibration if your heart rate goes over the threshold. In addition to your heart rate graph, dedicated iPhone app can provide you with information such as additional workout detail.

Pulse heart monitor has a lot to offer, especially if you have a medical condition or you just want to keep a track of your heart rate while working out. As for price and availability, there's no information available at the moment.
