These are compact interchangeable lens cameras but boast the performance and quality near that of a DSLR, allowing the user to get the best of both worlds. As a happy and proud owner of the previous generation NEX-5, the new NEX-5T has received some much appreciated improvements.The compact system camera features Sony's latest 16.1 MP APS-C sensor, a tiltable 180 degrees LCD touch-screen, full HD movie, built-in WiFi for photo sharing. Background defocus, exposure, picture effect and other adjustments can be previewed, applied and combined in an instant via the LCD touch panel and control dial. In addition, the new NEX-5T has a new Hybrid Auto Focus and can shoot at up to 10 frames per second, perfect for fast moving targets, it also boasts a powerful BIONZ processor ensuring clear, detailed images and quick and responsive shooting.

While the NEX-5T is great for beginners and those already with some experience in photography, the NEX-7 specifically targets advanced users and photography enthusiasts.
