Paper LED Torch is a minimalistic flashlight

Posted: 11 Jul 2013 10:05 PM PDT

Flashlights are useful devices, and if you're in need of flashlight, you might be interested in this minimalistic flashlight.

Paper LED Torch is designed by Kazuhiro Yamanaka, and this flashlight is simplistic and unique at the same time. This flashlight comes with LED mounted on the inside, and it's activated by curving the paper into tube. When you curve the paper into tube, the two hidden switches turn on the lamp, and when you unfold it, the lamp turns off. Paper LED Torch sounds unique, and without the doubt it's a minimalistic flashlight, but it's not the first of its kind.

Nevertheless, Paper LED Torch looks interesting and Kazuhiro Yamanaka did an amazing job with it. Despite it's minimalistic design, we have to wonder how would Paper LED Torch compare to other regular flashlights in terms of functionality. As for the availability and pricing, as far as we know, Paper LED Torch isn’t available for sale.
