These latest vending machine are located at Kasumigaseki subway station and Suidobashi subway station, and unlike other vending machines that dispense cigarettes, candy and sodas, these vending machines dispense freshly cut apples. These vending machines are developed by M.V.M Shoji Co., Ltd. and currently there are only three of these vending machines in Japan. All these apples come from Aomori Prefecture, located in the northern mainland of Japan, and each package contains half of apple and 42 calories. In addition, Vitamin C and calcium are added to each apple for better taste.

As we already said, there are only three of these vending machines in Japan, and who knows, someday we might even see them in US as well.
