SmartGuard iPhone case: iPhone case with pepper spray

There are many gadgets such as Knuckle Blaster Stun Gun that you can use for self-defense, but if you have an iPhone, today we have a special iPhone case that can keep you safe from potential attackers.


We know that iPhone can do all sorts of things, and thanks to the SmartGuard iPhone case, you can even use your iPhone for self-defense. Unlike other iPhone cases, this one comes with a pepper spray, and according to the SmartGuard, this pepper spray has a range of 1.5m or about five feet, and it provides you with six 1/2 second bursts of pepper spray for self-defense. Of course, there is an integrated safety tab as well, that will prevent the accidental discharge of pepper spray, and if you run out of pepper spray, you can simply replace the canisters.

SmartGuard iPhone case is available in black, white, or pink color, and it is priced at €37.50 (about $50).

Samsung Zipel oven is controlled via Android app

Smartphones work great with other smart devices in our home, and today we have another smart device for your kitchen that can be controlled via smartphone.


Samsung Zipel oven is probably one of the first smart ovens, and unlike other ovens, Samsung Zipel oven can be remotely controlled via special Android app. We have to notice that this oven won't do the cooking instead of you, but it comes with presets for 160 different dishes, that will make the cooking process somewhat easier. We're guessing that this application can figure out the right temperature and the duration of pre-heating for your dishes, and according to Samsung, this smart oven can detect how many calories does your current dish have. In addition, Samsung Zipel oven comes with voice guidance, and best of all, you can clean it easily thanks to the ceramic coating.

Samsung Zipel oven sounds incredible, however, it's currently available only in South Korea, while the pricing remains a mystery.

iPad 3 is officially launched and available for preorder

During the past few months there have been many speculations regarding the iPad 3, and if you're looking forward to the new Apple's tablet, you'll be pleased to know that iPad 3 is officially launched.


iPad 3 comes with 9.7-inch Retina Display that works at 2048 x 1536 resolution, and A5X dual-core processor with quad-core graphics. The new "iSight camera" is 5-megapixel backside illuminated camera with 5-element lens, IR filter and ISP, can record full HD 1080p video, and it also supports face detection.

In addition, there is a front facing VGA FaceTime camera as well that comes with voice detection. As for networking, iPad 3 supports 4G LTE on Verizon and AT&T, and 3G for the rest of the world, but it also has hotspot capabilities. Regarding the battery, new iPad 3 comes with rechargeable battery that can provide you with 10 hours of battery life, or 9 hours if you're using 4G.

Just like its predecessors, the latest Apple's tablet is thin and light, and it is 9.4mm thin and it weighs 1.4 lbs. There are several models available, the WiFi-only models cost $499 for 16GB, $599 for 32GB, and $699 for 64GB, while the models that support both WiFi and 4G cost  $629 for 16GB, $729 for 32GB, and $829 for 64GB.

iPad 3 is available for pre-order, and shipping will start on March 16th in the US, Canada, UK, France, Germany, Switzerland, Japan, Hong Kong, Singapore, and Australia, while 30 other additional countries will have to wait for March 23rd.
