Posted: 17 Feb 2012 02:54 AM PST

Portable handheld consoles are great, however, their only limitation is that they can run out of power due to excessive gameplay, but luckily for you, today we have two devices that will allow you to recharge your PlayStation Vita.

Sony has announced two portable charging accessories for its latest handheld console, one of those accessories is a standard car adapter, and the other one is a portable battery pack. Standard car adapter connects to your car's lighter socket and it allows you to recharge your PlayStation Vita while driving. As for battery pack, it has 5,000 mAh, and it can provide enough power for you to recharge your console 1.5 times. We should notice that it takes about 7 hours to fully recharge your battery pack.

The car adapter should be available on March 22nd, and it should cost about $20, while the battery pack should be available on 5th April for $60. However, we have to mention that these accessories will be available only in Japan, and so far, there's no information regarding the worldwide release.
