MetalCompass Xappr and Micro-Xappr Gun combine first person shooters and augmented reality on your smartphone

Playing first person shooters on your console, computer, or tablet / smartphone is always a blast, but you can take that experience to another level thanks to the little gadget that comes from MetalCompass.

MetalCompass has announced its Xappr and Micro-Xappr Gun, and although you won't use these devices to play latest first person shooter games, you'll be able to enjoy in variety of augmented reality first person games on your smartphone. We must notice that Xappr and Micro-Xappr Gun will allow you to experience multiplayer gaming as well, therefore, these devices will do its best to simulate combat scenarios, allowing you to use variety of weapons and gaming mods. If you want to see Xappr and the Micro-Xappr Gun in action, you can do so at the international toy fair held in Nuremberg, Germany.

The Xappr and Micro-Xappr Guns should be available for preorder this spring for $29.99 each. As for the compatibility, Xappr and Micro-Xappr Guns are compatible with iOS, Android, and Windows Phone devices.
