Apple announces OS X Mavericks

iOS 7 has been announced, but in addition to its mobile operating system, Apple has also announced a new operating system for desktop / laptop computers.



OS X Mavericks comes with several new features, and one of these features is the Finder Tabs that allows you to work in Finder with multiple windows, allowing you to draw windows together in tabs. In addition, tagging has been added as well, so you can easily tag documents in order to search them a lot easier than before.

Another new feature is iCloud Keychain that stores all of your passwords in the cloud. iCloud Keychain can remember your passwords, and only thing that users will have to remember is their own security code. In addition, iOS push notification alerts from apps will be displayed on your Mac, as well on the lockscreen. There's also a feature that will automatically update apps in the background. In addition, new calendar and Maps for OS X have been introduced, and users can now push directions from OS X Maps to their iPhones. iBooks for Mac has been introduced as well, and now the full iBook library from your iOS will be available on your Mac as well.

OS X Mavericks looks great, and it will be available to public this fall.

Sony PlayStation 4 pricing revealed at E3

As you know, Xbox One pricing and release date was revealed on E3, but Sony also made their own announcement on E3 regarding PlayStation 4.



New PlayStation looks like a PlayStation 2 a bit, and it comes with upgradable 500GB hard drive. As for the games, PlayStation 4 won't have any restrictions when it comes to PS4 games, so you can easily sell your games or lend them to a friend.

In addition, in order to play games, you won't have to sign in to PSN, so you can play your favorite games even if you don't have internet connection. As for the multiplayer, in order to play games online, you'll need PlayStation Plus subscription that costs $50 a year.

Sony PlayStation 4 has some advantages over its competitor, Xbox One, and as for the price, PlayStation 4 is priced at $399, so it's $100 cheaper than Xbox One, but unlike Xbox One, PlayStation 4 doesn't have Kinect and TV features.

iOS 7 officially announced, coming this fall

If you own an iOS device, then you're probably waiting for the latest version of iOS with anticipation, and speaking of which, iOS 7 has been announced, so let's have a look at its new features.



iOS 7 brings end-of-screen gestures, and with this new feature you can switch between apps, tabs or email messages quickly. We have to mention that folders have been improved, and now you can store unlimited number of apps in a single folder.

Notifications have been improved as well, and now you can view all notifications, missed notifications or today's notifications.

iOS 7 comes with improved Control Center that can be accessed by swiping upwards at any time, and using the Control Center you can access features such as Airplane Mode, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, Do Not Disturb Mode, screen's brightness, playback controls, AirPlay and AirDrop.

Camera app on iOS 7 has been improved and it offers four cameras at once at any time: the standard camera, video camera, panorama camera and block camera, so you'll be able to switch easily between cameras. In addition, Photo Library app has been improved, and now it will automatically sort your images based on time and location.

AirDrop is also added, and it allows you to share files simply by tapping a contact. AirDrop is system wide supported, it uses peer-to-peer connection, and it's securely encrypted. Siri is improved as well, and there will be new male and female voices, Siri will work with English, French and German languages, and more languages will be supported in the future.

iOS 7 sounds amazing, and it should be available to the public this fall.

Xbox One release date and pricing announced

We have been waiting for Xbox One for a while, and after the official Xbox One announcement, today we have some additional news about the release date.



As you know, Xbox One comes with new design and Kinect 2.0, and regarding the hardware specs, Xbox One uses x64 8-core AMD Jaguar CPU, USB 3.0 ports, 500GB hard drive and 8GB DDR3 RAM. As for the additional specs, there are 802.11n Wi-Fi with Wi-Fi Direct and Blu-ray drive.

We also have to mention that Xbox One comes with HDMI out, but it also uses HDMI-in, so you can use Xbox One during your TV-watching sessions. In addition, we have to point out that Xbox One comes with Kinect 2.0, and you can use your voice and hand gestures to easily control your Xbox One, or to watch TV.

As for the new Kinect, it's a lot faster when it comes to detecting motion, and it comes with a camera that has 60 percent bigger field of view. One of the major concerns about Xbox One was the always online requirement, but luckily, you only have to log in to Xbox Live at least once a day in order to play.

Xbox One sounds great, and we should see it available for sale in November with the price of $US499/£429/AUD$599.
