Speculated: No optical disc drive on Xbox 720?

We already mentioned that latest Xbox might be introducing some major changes, and you probably remember the leaked information regarding the Xbox 720 controller with touchscreen, and if you're looking forward to more information, we have another leaked information regarding the Xbox 720's disc drive.

It appears that Microsoft had held a secret developer meeting in London, and according to the leaked information, in seems that Xbox 720 might not use optical disc drive anymore. According to the rumors, Xbox 720 should abandon optical disc drives, and instead, it should use SD cards to read video games. In addition, all apps and games that will run on the console will be able for download or streaming. This is a major step forward for gaming industry, especially because you don't have to search for a specific DVD when you want to play a certain game on your Xbox.
