Geeky gadgets: Click Keypad watch Posted: 14 Dec 2011 03:03 PM PST Why do geeks generally get excited by watches so much? Its probably not because we like the function that they deliver but the way it is delivered. For me, its the number of buttons and how awkward the process required is, in order to retrieve a bloody time reading. Following in the footsteps of Tokyo Flash, Watchismo has recently released the Click Keypad watch. While it may look like somewhat of a calculator, it does nothing remotely related to solving maths questions. Time is displayed by a sequential blinking of the corresponding LEDs, which are activated after pressing any 0-9 number. The date is similarly triggered and read by pressing "#". So I guess its not so awkward afterall, but the look of the watch is certainly enough to attract some attention. For this, you’re looking at a pricetag of $89.99. Check it out in action in the short clip below… [via Geeky Gadgets, Watchismo] This article is brought to you by GadgetLite - Latest gadgets and technology news |
Use your iPhone to brew coffee with Scanomat TopBrewer Posted: 14 Dec 2011 11:42 AM PST We all know that iPhone is capable of doing all sorts of things, such as monitoring your house or controlling your household devices, and now, you can even use your iPhone to brew yourself a cup of coffee.
TopBrewer comes from Scanomat , and it's not an iPhone accessory as you might expect, instead, TopBrewer is a minimalistic coffee maker. Although only stainless steel tap is revealed, TopBrewer is actually a complicated device that is controlled remotely via iPhone app. Using the app's menu, you can choose what type of coffee would you like, and after choosing the desired type of coffee, you just need to place your cup under the tap and wait while TopBrewer brews your coffee. As you can see, TopBrewer sounds amazing, and with its minimalistic design, it would be a great addition to your household, but sadly, no information regarding the price and release date of TopBrewer are available at the moment.
